Very high quality. I purchased 3 of these and compared to friends who purchased elsewhere. AMT is MUCH better quality machining, especially noticeable on the buffer tube threads. The other brand threads were cut shallow and are more likely to strip. I used the Modulus Arms HD jig and they came out flawless. I’ll be getting more.

Very well made. You get what you pay for. Machined up beautifully! Exterior Dimension is about 15 thousands wider than Mil spec. So it actually fits the upper better and adds more strength to the side walls. This coupled with the integral trigger guard makes this one of the strongest A.R. platform rifle receivers that I know of.

The best billet receiver I have found. It is made from the correct material (7075 T6). Not the inferior but easier to machine 6000 series aluminum. Huge difference in strength. The finished side wall width increases from .090 to .105 as compared to a mil spec receiver. Now that may not sound like much but it adds substantial strength to the part. That coupled with the integral trigger guard makes for a huge increase in overall strength as compared to the non billet forged original mil specification receiver. Which is not bad by any means. All of the machining work is dead on accurate. Certainly with in .0005 or 1/2 of one thousandth of an inch. That is bout 1/8 the thickness of one of the hairs on your head!! Really well made part the rest is up to you!
